The National Arts Club Presents Cellist Ifetayo Ali-Landing

A performance by cellist Ifetayo Ali-Landing, presented in partnership with the Sphinx Organization.

Ifetayo Ali-Landing began her musical studies on the violin and switched to cello at age four. The 17-year-old was named the first-place laureate of the Sphinx Competition’s Junior Division in 2017 and subsequently performed as a soloist with the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra in Detroit’s Orchestra Hall. Ali-Landing has also been featured with the New World Symphony, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at Ravinia. Her recordings include the Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto No. 1 that has to date over 100,000 views on YouTube and over 15 million on Facebook. She is currently a freshman at the Colburn School in Los Angeles.

The National Arts Club is partnering with the Sphinx Organization to present a series of classical concerts featuring outstanding young Black and Latino musicians. The Sphinx Organization is a national social justice organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts.

Please help the NAC support artists. By making a donation with your registration, you contribute directly to the livelihood of our performers and presenters. The NAC will share 50% of all donations with the featured performer/presenter. The remaining 50% will support the NAC Artist Fellows program, helping to further the careers of up-and-coming artists.
